Be part of an exceptional retail experience

The former home to the world-famous Carlsberg Breweries in the heart of Copenhagen is more than 170 years old and as of right now it is being transformed into a new vibrant city district. The world renowned von Bartha Gallery and danish fashion designer Henrik Vibskov has already moved in at the High Street and now we are searching for the next brands to join.

The tenancies constituting the southern part of Carlsberg City District are in collaboration called the High Street. The size and the location of the tenancies have the potential to become an exceptional retail experience, giving Carlsberg City District the opportunity to invite international brands to create unique universes together. In these universes, retail and art will go hand in hand, and this will put Carlsberg City District and Copenhagen on the map for futuristic store designs that are to be remembered.

20.000 people already have their everyday life in Carlsberg City District today, and many more residents and people who come to work every day, will come in the following years, like the approximately 8 million visitors who will come to shop, eat and visit the cultural institutions like Visit Carlsberg and take a walk in the historical neighbourhood.

History, heritage, identity and diversity

Carlsberg's history has always been a love affair between science and culture. From the very beginning, quality products went hand in hand with a plenty of creative energy and a generous contribution to the life in the city. This valuable spirit continues as a central tenet of the development of the new Carlsberg City District. Divided into 10 different zones each corner is a new experience to enter, and we curate the retail and dining concepts for a holistic city district to both visit and to live in.
